Education Lifeskills has been a program I've been looking for to provide restorative outcomes to our students. We have implemented the Positive Thinking Skills course into our alternative high school, and the conversations we are having with our students about their own thinking errors and the choices they are making on a daily basis have been incredible! Booster Training March 30, 2023 – March 30, 2023

Cottonwood-Oak Creek School has utilized Lifeskills courses for the past school year and has plans to continue. The purpose of this upcoming training is as a refresher for staff members who have received prior training, as well as staff members who did not.

Sustaining Restorative Culture March 22, 2023 – March 22, 2023

This month, we are facilitating the “Sustaining Restorative Culture” workshop, the third segment in a series of professional development workshops developed for educators. Clarkdale-Jerome is already doing great work with their students and community, and we look forward to continuing to work with them in this endeavor.

Kingsville ISD Implementation Training

Implementation Training January 27, 2023 – January 27, 2023

Kingsville ISD is implementing the Education Lifeskills Intervention Site license for their middle school and high school. This program will equip staff and administrators with timely CBT Lifeskills courses that will help them move the needle toward being more restorative and less punitive with students who are at risk. Specifically, this program will help students reduce the time they spend in the DAEP (Disciplinary Alternative Education Program).

Growing Restorative Culture Workshop

Onsite Professional Development January 25, 2023 – January 25, 2023

We will be onsite in Jerome-Clarkdale to conduct the Growing Restorative Culture workshop. This is the 2nd of 3 workshops that are designed to help staff take a restorative approach to work with at-risk students. This workshop specifically reinforces the need for humanity, empathy, and relationship building. It also addresses the various types of bias and allows participants to assess their level of cultural competencies.

Dixie High School has utilized Lifeskills courses for just over two years now, with a completion rate of 73.5%. We have the opportunity to provide a refresher training on our learning platform, Lifeskills Link, in-person and we look forward to it!

Training with Great Falls Public Schools December 7, 2022 – December 12, 2022

Great Falls Public Schools in Great Falls, Montana is comprised of 21 schools, and is the second-largest school district in the state, serving K-12 students. This meeting is comprised of Lifeskills Link platform training as well as discussing Restorative Practices principles, and how these principles are integrated into our courses and programs.

The Joint Annual Conference is an education conference held annually in November as a partnership between IASB (Illinois Association of School Boards), IASA (Illinois Association of School Administrators), and IASBO (Illinois Association of School Business Officials). Lava Ridge Intermediate School

Lava Ridge Intermediate is located in Santa Clara, Utah (Washington County School District) and includes both 6th and 7th graders. The Education Lifeskills program will be used in conjunction with their discipline framework with Tier 2 and Tier 3 students.
